We got home yesterday evening, but of course I haven’t gotten around to posting until now. You know, I’m just a little tired. But we made good time on our last day except for getting stuck for an hour at the border. Only one window open for all the traffic coming into Canada.
And you know what? IT’S COLD IN CANADA. I don’t remember it actually being this cold before, so did I just get soft? Wait, don’t answer that.
I had a nice surprise last night when Michelle and I went over to our house, Michelle had gotten some of our friends together and moved all of our stuff from the storage locker into the garage. So we’re all moved into the house, now we just have to unload the boxes and place the furniture. My wife is cool.
So that’s that. For a seven day road trip with two kids, this was as good as it could get. Ya, we had some disappointments like the amusement park, but we got to do some cool stuff like the Denver Zoo and the World’s Biggest Jackalope in Douglas, WY. And the time Chelsey, Jared and I spent together was SO worth it. I had a great time with them and I hope they feel the same way.
Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. Now that we’re home we will hopefully be able to see and talk with many of you.
