you know what would have made this whole trip easier? a hitchhiker. especially a hitchhiker from the southern states who needed a lift over the border.
Perhaps. But I had a very strict rule given to me by MM that there was to be no hitchhikers. Especially of the attractive 20-29 female kind.
Besides, there was no place for them to sit or for their stuff.
